MG Rover workers: what happened next?

The Birmingham Business School at the University of Birmingham obtained funding from the Economic and Social Research Council to conduct the study Ex-MG Rover workers: 3 years on (PDF, 989kb).

The study consisted of a  survey of 204 ex-workers conducted via telephone in April 2008, along with in-depth interviews of 30 workers and 30 local and regional practioners and policy makers.

Major new study on MG Rover by Birmingham University published

As reported by the Economy and Labour Force Bulletin in February, researchers at Birmingham University were undertaking a comprehensive study on the long term impacts of the closure of MG Rover.
